Orange and Coral Dessert Table by Limelight Photography
Hello everyone! Hope all of you are doing fantastic–can you believe we are already in October and Target is running Christmas commercials? Goodness! Well today I wanted to share a lovely table with a color palette that I cannot get enough of. As everyone knows, coral has been my latest obsession this year. Everything with coral makes me smile. And today’s table is super special with my besties over at MMD Events for a little, gorgeous floral and with Limelight Photography, it just doesn’t get better.
This latest table happens to take place at the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Showcase, a bridal show we have partnered up with, for a few years now. I’m particular about the shows we attend because there are so many out there but we just love PWG’s bridal shows, their partners/exhibitors, and so if you looking to see some great vendors, up-close, check out their schedule here.
Happy Wednesday everyone!
PS: Can we just take a moment to appreciate the amazingness of the boss man’s skills for our table backdrops? Seriously, his meticulous painting skills for our backdrops blows me away every time.

Engagement Party: Modern Orange and Grey Dessert Table with MMD Events
Hello everyone! Hope all you are enjoying your weekend. We have the weekend “off” here so while we figure out what adventures await us with the boys, I figured I would share a bit of blog goodness to start the week.
I know…I know…I may say this often, but this was one of my favorite setups that we worked on with MMD Events and I loved the table that came out of this. The style was a unique mixture of vintage pieces mixed with modern, geometric patterns which I love. love. love. You would think that mixing chevron with damask wouldn’t work, but if you strike the right balance (throw in an amazing color palette), you can achieve a great look.
Of course, working with John and Sasha was pure joy. Completely open to our design ideas and giving us free reign to be as creative as we can be (yes, I know…dangerous!).
Enjoy!
PS: Special thanks to Crystal Brewster from Cuppy Cakes who provided the super tasty, customized cupcakes that were a hit! Thanks Crystal!

Real Event: Children’s Home 120-Year Anniversary Celebration
Hello everyone!!! Hope June is going awesome for all of you! It feels nice to type away and see the sunshine from my window which has been nonexistent withTropical Storm Debby rearing it’s ugly head for the past week. And of course, I always have my 8 month old, assistant in training, Baby P making me smile (and run around).
So onto an event I can’t wait to share. The Children’s Home 120 year Anniversary luncheon was lead by two of my favorite people, Anna Richardson from Lucia Paul Design and Diana Tamayo from Cafe a la Carte, both from NACE (Tampabay) an amazing organization that has really paved the way for my business from the very beginning. For the past two years, NACE has been connected to The Children’s Home, one of Tampa Bay’s oldest and thriving nonprofits. NACE produced the circus-themed celebration to over 200 guests we were asked to provide the enormous (no, really, they could be mistaken for weapons) colorful lollipop centerpieces.
Enjoy the pictures and of course, thanks to my friends over at Limelight!

Carrie Wildes Studio Opening
Yes, this is me and I’m keeping up with my blogging. Taking a moment to share an event and person that I love. love. love. Did I say love? I first met Carrie a few years ago, when I started my buisness. She has been one of my biggest supporters so I’m thrilled to finally share a few images from Carrie’s studio opening. She transformed her custom house/studio into a space that has so many lovely details, it basically feels like I’m looking through pinterest boards. Seriously.
The opening was “very Carrie” in every way– clean, minimal and above all, chic. Color palette centered around white, gun metal grey with punches of light turquoise. Although I wasn’t able to be there in person (making little faces smile at Fashion Funds for a Cure), my partner in crime, Steve held down the fort for the evening which from what I see, was amazing!
Congrats Carrie! We are so HAPPY for you!

Calendar for a Cause 2012
Hey Y’all! Slowly getting to blogging. It’s been a big adjustment period for me, so thank you for bearing with me! Every year we get requests for sponsored tables, donations for various (wonderful) causes, but this year we decided to narrow down our focus and all of our energies into one cause, that is joining the fight against pediatric cancers and childhood illnesses.
A few years ago, I stumbled upon a blog by Holly McRae, the mother of a beautiful (actually stunning) 5 year old little girl diagnosed with an agressive form of brain cancer. Her words (she’s an amazing gifted writer), grace and faith during her family’s difficult journey touched my heart and I felt an instant connection. As a mama myself, I just can’t even begin to imagine what Holly must be going through. Today, Kate continues to defy the odds as she undergoes chemo treatments and therapies for a second relapse. If you have a moment, I encourage you to read more about her story here.
So when Georgia Watson asked us to create a cake pop dessert table for Tampa Bay’s Calendar for a Cause event, we seriously did not give it a second thought. A culmination of talented photographers and event planners came together to create a 12-month calender filled with children either battling cancer or survivors. All proceeds from the calendar and the gala went directly to the Children’s Cancer Center. It was a great event and all I can say is that I was so incredibly grateful the chance to be a part of it.
Special thanks to Michael Schuhmann for all of the images.

Hey everyone! Wow, okay nearing my last hurrah with Baby Preston, so I’m determined to leave you with some great events before I depart (briefly). This next one is by one of my favorite, no seriously, I mean one of my most favorite people, Jamie Billig from Confetti Events. Jamie has this insanely unique way bringing the best group of vendors together– to create an event that really just took my pregnant self to another level.

Real Party: Chloe’s Pink, Grey and Red Dessert Table!
So onto more interesting topics other than my venting, EXTREMELY excited to share with you this latest party. This table was for Chloe’s 2nd birthday and was shot by her amazing mother Shay Cochrane, owner of Shay Cochrane photography. We were lucky enough to work with Shay on a previous photoshoot here with Every Last Detail. And if we go back even further, we first crossed paths during Making Things Happen with Lara Casey–a workshop and journey that has changed my life forever.
Shay also happens to be a genius photographer who was able to turn around some great images. I mean, really, I just keep on staring at these pictures…the lighting…..the daisies…the way all of the colors pop…the backdrop…I can honestly say that it’s photographers like Shay that help bring my work to another level. So Shay, if you get a chance to read this: THANK YOU.
If you would like to read Shay’s original post on her own blog, click here.
Enjoy!

Quince with RSBP Events and Pezz Photo
Yippee! Love when I get photos to share. This one was put together without much time, but I thought everything turned out wonderfully. It was also one of our first times working closely with RSBP’s Brooke Palmer. Brooke is an AMAZING person with not only a knack for putting great productions together, but along with her work in the nonprofit industry and public relations’ clients…she truly does it all.
Some details about the Quince: okay, before we start, can we just pause for a moment and say STUNNING. Natalie’s parents made sure to cover the details, from the breathtaking floral and event design, to the entertainment, everything just came together to create an evening I don’t believe Natalie will ever forget!
Oh…and when I say entertainment, I mean, ENTERTAINMENT. The Beach Girls5 made an appearance and their performance was the highlight of the evening. Well, next to our dessert table, of course 😉
Enjoy!

Perfect Wedding Guide: Bridal Show
Hope everyone had a “sweet” Halloween. Just thought I would share a few pictures from a recent show we did with Perfect Wedding Guide before we head out for the weekend! Love, love, love this color palette and wish I could work with it more.
Also love to experiment with different backdrops, in this case we did painted stripes, alternating all three colors. It was time-consuming to get it perfect, but the final product was definitely worth it.
Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!
