A Sweet Engagement Shoot by Chic Sweets and Limelight Photography

Catching up on some blogging here! We were thrilled to be a cover-feature on Style Me Pretty a few weeks ago. This was an easy, laid back engagement shoot that we were asked to style for Limelight Photography. More and more we are finding that our clients are looking for imaginative and creative ways to show their personalities and still feel like themselves!

Of course, when you are working with a photographer that just “gets it,” that is always great. Rebecca from Limelight is always inspiring to collaborate it. She gave me a description of the couple, what they were looking for and we took it from there.

Dessert Table Segment (Behind the Scenes)-Daytime TV Show

Hey everyone! Hope all of you are having a great week. Just wanted to share a few behind the scenes for our Thanksgiving Dessert Table Segment that aired this week on Daytime’s WFLA. LOL, and as you can see I’m in deep concentration!
Again, can’t express enough how amazing this experience was for Chic Sweets. The Daytime staff was amazing: Hosts’ Cyndi Edwards, Lindsay MacDonald, David Nemeth and producer Deanna George could not have made me feel more comfortable.

Purple and White Inspiration: Dessert Table

Hey Y’all! Hope everyone is having a good week! Recently we worked with a very special client for a house welcoming party for the client’s family.

Let me tell you that in having seen quite a few weddings, there is one element that will completely devour my attention (besides candy) and that is Conceptbait’s floral, which was in one word: MAJOR!

So with the floral, design and styling by the geniuses over at Conceptbait, a delicious dessert table from us and top it all off photography by Limelight you have you full day’s serving of contemporary elegance.

Perfect Wedding Guide: Bridal Show

Hope everyone had a “sweet” Halloween. Just thought I would share a few pictures from a recent show we did with Perfect Wedding Guide before we head out for the weekend! Love, love, love this color palette and wish I could work with it more.

Also love to experiment with different backdrops, in this case we did painted stripes, alternating all three colors. It was time-consuming to get it perfect, but the final product was definitely worth it.
